ASHA Recognized Fluency Specialist, Stuttering.
" There are less than 300 of these specialists in the United States helping people who stutter."
As a specialist, and an instructor, I keep up with current research regarding stuttering therapy and etiology.
I have worked in my field of expertise with Pasadena City College; Mountain View School District, El Monte, Caifornia; San Marino Unified School District; the ENT Department at West Los Angeles Kaiser-Permanente Hospital; the Los Angeles County Office of Education; the Los Angeles Unified School District; and the Stuttering Adult Clinic, California State University, Los Angeles.
I was the director of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Stuttering Association for 14 years.
I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA).
I have presented at ASHA, many times at CASHA, and in several school districts.
I am available for one and two day workshops, in-services,
and seminars.
My present involvement includes teaching the university undergraduate and graduate level fluency courses at California State University
at Northridge (CSUN), and I also direct and supervise the California State University at Northridge Stuttering Clinic.
Formerly conducted
one day family workshops called "Children Who Stutter and Their Families" in association with Pasadena City College (PCC) - Communications
Department.
