The increase availability of High Speed DSL connections and higher performance computer hardware helps make speech therapy by remote means a real possibility.

 

This may not be the answer in all cases of need, but can be an alternate means / method where it were otherwise not possible to provide speech therapy by a certified specialist.

 

Each therapy approach must be reviewed for its specific needs where remote sessions may be an added and effective value to the over all plan of approach to speech therapy.

 

"In Person" and "TelePractice" combinations may be needed to reach the planned goals.
